As I already admitted, I have a dark secret. In years gone-by, I played Warhammer 40K, and I still possess a Space Wolves Army. My addiction didn't stop there. Over the years I supported Games Workshop by discretely purchasing their miniatures for non-GW sanctioned games. If that makes me a heretic, then heretic I am.
An early purchase was the Contemptor Class Dreadnought. It is difficult to find images of their early dreadnought models but I found two photos online. One reports to be a GW figure from 1987, and the other is an image from their 1991 catalogue. In my opinion both images clearly identify the figure I have. IMO it wasn't one of the workshops' more successful designs.
Below is an example of a really bad paint job, and I am the person responsible.
But the Contemptor does not stand alone. What Space Wolf army would be complete without Bjorn the Fell-Handed and a trusted Iron Priest to keep him running.

I think that's a dark secret a lot of us share, Robert. I had both the Contemptor and the Furioso, for my sins!
